UNITED Shows Before War of the Worlds, Qualifies for Oscar

Yes, seriously.
After playing before War of the Worlds in Hollywood theaters this month, UNITED met its final theatrical requisite to qualify for the 2006 Academy Awards ballot. It now competes with other qualifying short films for an Oscar nomination.
Created by TXL Films, UNITED has received accolades from the likes of Los Angeles Mayor James K. Hahn, Style Magazine, the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, and even Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.
